THE LOCATION

The immediate location isn’t great. Views from the flat are uninspiring and include the back of the local TA building, a small building site (apartment development) an old people’s home and a community square with a very well-stocked local shop (see the pictures).

But there’s a nice relaxed feel about the immediate area with a good mix of people pottering about going about their business. It’s fairly quiet with occasional background noise.

The flat is on a corner so it gets light coming in from both sides giving a bright and airy feel to the living area. It is also very close to the well-lit road so it has double glazing throughout to keep out any excessive noise.

The property is located in Zone 2 on the borders of vibrant Brixton and trendy Clapham. It is 15 minutes from tube stations Clapham North & Clapham Common (Northern line), and Brixton (Victoria line). 30 minutes into the city and West End. Buses into town are 2 minutes away

It is within walking distance to bars, restaurants and other local amenities including a couple of fitness centres, Clapham Common park and two major supermarkets – Tesco and Sainsbury.
