Garden Flat DescriptionLocation:This 1 bedroom garden flat is situated on a quiet residential road only a few minutes walk from Colliers Wood tube station. There are great links via bus from here so its easy by bus or tube to get to either Wimbledon or to Balham. I have been commuting to Holborn since living here and that takes me approx 40-45 mins, you would expect to get a seat on the tube which is definatley a bonus. My preferred method of commuting is to cycle so for those who like the more energetic route it takes slightly less time than the tube (35-40mins) and its a fairly direct route covering 12.5km. Close by: Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer & Telsco local all within 10 min stroll. Virgin Active Gym, Abbey Mille Markets, Morden Hall Park, river Wandle. The Property The flat is would suit a single occupant or is spacious enough for a couple. The flat is being let as a part-furnished property with the main items being provided as part of the rental agreement. The main reception room is neutral and light . Wooden Floor boards nad a working fireplace which is cosy in the winter months. There is a two seater sofa which folds out to a good sized sofa bed. The bedroom contains a Queen size bed (6'6" x 4'6") and ample storage for two people. There is a double and single wardrobe plus a smaller chest of draws. There is also room under the bed for additional storage. A feature firplace also can be seen in this room. The Bathroom is brand new. It has floor to wall tiles, floor tiles, heated towel rail, shower and bath, new toilet and sink. Only the cabinet above the sink made it from the old bathroom. The kitchen is very bright and has a rustic feel. It has a Stoves oven, gas hob, extractor fan, new washer dryer and fridge freezer. One of the worktops can be disconnected and slides into the firplace space to open up the room. The door leads through to the conservatory. The conservatory is a bonus reception room and very light. There is a table provided with a couple of stools. Its lovely to sit out and enjoy breakfast in the summer months. This space also provides ample storage space in the large boiler cupboard. The garden, although not south facing does get a reasonable amount of sunshine during the day and evening. Decking leads from the rear doors and there is a grass area surrounded by plants and shrubs. There is also side access with two sheds for storage. A gas BBQ is included as part of the furnishings. Steet Parking permit is required but we dont have many issues finding a space each day. It is not a through road so traffic is minimal. The rental agreement covers the flat as furnished. It does not include council tax or other utility bills.
